The process of restricting access to a port to a single IP address or group of IP addresses is known as “scoping” the port. If the latter, port 3389 is already forwarded, but it doesn't mean you can't use it. Forward a random port by leaving the port field on the port forwarding page blank, but enter 3389 into the local port field. Cisco Jabber IM Screen share - port 3389 blocked I wanted to see if anyone had knowledge on if port 3389 is required for Cisco Jabber IM Screen Share. UDP Port 3389 was recently blocked on our Client VPN solution, and we now can't Screen Share via the Cisco Jabber IM method.
you do not need to forward port 3389 through the router because there is a vpn tunnel created. That tunnel allows all traffic [no firewall] but if the hosts have firewall, then you have to allow it.
